EXHibitors at the event

The exhibition will showcase work from a number of local artists plus the work of two French artists represented in the UK by 'Le Mans Art'.

There will also be a display of black and white motorsport photos from the 50's and 60's.

Here are the artists and some samples of their work. Each has a very different style.

francois & dominique

Both these French artists are well known in Europe and live in Le Mans, home of the famous 24 hour race.

Their styles are very different and capture the beauty and technological evolution of classic and race cars covering many decades.

The famous Le Mans 24 hour features heavily in their work and they are both official artists for the race organisers the ACO.

.

Their work is found all over Europe and beyond and there will be a large selection of the work from both artists available.

Caroline

Local artist Caroline uses acrylic and charcoal as her favourite medium producing some dramatic pieces of art.

Her attention to detail and search for the right colour and lighting embellishes the grace and beauty of some 'wild beasts' and people, capturing the spirit of the subject with a deep sense of understanding.

Beautiful pictures in stunning detail. Originals are available as will be prints in different sizes.

She is also able to offer commissions if you want something very special.

vanessa

Ness has a very unique style and her use of colour and texture makes her work stand out with impact.

You'll find her work intriguing and imaginative and you will look deep into the centre of many pieces and become lost in the expression and meaning behind the work.

Enjoy the style and emotions that Ness's work creates and imagine a piece of her work in your home.

Paul

Local artist Paul has lived in Deanshanger for many years and paints with pastels and occassionally watercolour.

He produces unique pieces that create different moods and feelings giving a calmness to his pictures.

Paul's work has grown and developed since he started 8 years ago and he is a regular at the Deanshanger art group that meets every week.

.

Paul will be working on a new picture at the event in October.

Richard

An experienced craftsman creating some beautiful ceramic pieces that will appeal to many people.

His creativity and imagination combine to produce some incredible pieces that you would love to own and display in your home.

Richard has a great talent and huge experience of glazing and character creation that will put a smile on your face when you see his work.

sheila

Working in watercolour, local artist Sheila paints a wide range of subjects from houses to flowers, animals to landscapes.

Her style and use of natural imagery and earthy tones creates a sense of peace and harmony with nature, and creates a feeling of connection with the subject.

DENNIS

Dennis is a local artist who has been painting for over 20 years since retirement. His work is fun and imaginative with great use of colour.

His pictures will make you smile and will bring back childhood memories of story books and times when your outlook was simple and drawing was a great way to pass the time.

He is renowned for his house roofs and vibrant coloured tiles.

The exhibition will be showing a host of black and white photos from the 1950's and 1960's featuring the racing greats .. . Moss, Fangio, Collins and many more.
